Mermaid In A Snowglobe!

Congratulations to our winner and top three from our last challenge at Hooked On Craft Challenges! Once again everyone's entries were wonderful. We are now onto our next challenge which is 'all that glitters'. Now I absolutely love glitter so this was a very fun challenge for me. For my card I have used one of the gorgeous images from A Day For Daisies of a mermaid in a snow globe which I coloured with copics. I wanted to give the snowglobe lots of sparkle so I covered it with glossy accents then sprinkled glitter on it. My sentiment, flowers, leaves, rose buds, bling, bow, crystal leaf stems, charm and bud and bow ribbon are all from the fabulous Hooked On Craft.

Please join us at Hooked On Craft Challenges for out 'all that glitters' challenge!

Vintage Whimsy!

I hope everyone is having a lovely week so far! I am very excited becuase I have been given the opportunity to be a guest design team member for the fabulous Whimsy Stamps! I have been a big fan of Whimsy Stamps products for a long time so I was thrilled to get a chance to design a card for their challenge blog. The theme this week is 'vintage / shabby chic' and I have used one of the sweet images designed by Crissy Armstrong called 'nose to nose'. I just love all of Crissy's images and they are so fun to colour! My vintage post card stamp (how awesome is that!), corners, and sentiment (and matching die) are also from Whimsy Stamps. I inked the edges of all my papers with distress ink in 'broken china' and 'tea die' to give a bit of a vintage feel. I spritzed my flowers with glimmer mist in 'peacock' and 'banana pudding'.
Please join us over at Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Challenges for out vintage / shabby chic challenge!

Fairy Wishes And Dreams!

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! Here is a card I made this weekend featuring one of the gorgoeus stamps designed by Crissy Armstrong called Fairy Daydreams. I coloured her with copics and added glitter to her wings (everytime I have a stamp with wings I can't help but glitter them!). My sweet postage stamp is from Whimsy Stamps and I used the matching die to cut it out. My sweet little sentiment below my stamp is also from Whimsy Stamps and cut out with the co-ordinating die as is my glittered corners. I recently discovered the shapeology dies from Whimsy Stamps and now i'm hooked on them! My pretty glittery flourish is a Cherry Lynn Designs die.

Vintage Mother's Day Card!

We are now onto our next challenge at Bizzy Becs Challenges and our theme this month is 'vintage'. Now I rarely make vintage creations so this was a real challenge for me but I had lots of fun with it! My card is an easel style card for Mother's Day featuring a sweet little basket of flowers. I cut the basket, flowers and leaves out using a gorgeous die from Marianne Design and inked the edges with distress ink in 'frayed burlap'. The papers behind my basket and my sentiment are cut out using spellbinders dies.

Please join us at Bizzy Becs Challenges this month for our vintage challenge!
